“Swangin Swervin” is Pat Ron’s latest single, on which he trades in his well known laid back flow for a more hard hitting verbal assault. Tokin Potent provides the smacking production that is the stage which Pat Ron comes on to. The tracks production begins with a soft bell ringing in the backdrop but quickly picks up its intensity before it drops the 808’s and their accompanying instrumentals.
Pat Ron touches on a few accolades he’s obtained, ranging from sold-out shows in L.A and Colorado being some, to the lyrical and artistic reputation he’s built in Dallas. He does this seemingly to reminisce on what he’s accomplished in his past, but also as motivation for himself of what else it to come. The flow he uses here, as previously mentioned, is more fast paced in comparison to some of his other work. He emphasizes every word a bit more, raising and dropping his tone which in turn creates a sick effect. With this being done he makes his words reverberate even more within my ears.
