Local Radio: HIRA, Kid Smoke, Stevedreez

Local Radio is back for another week with another fresh playlist of songs that you need to hear.

We have a big milestone this week with the first ever artist from the U.K. to be featured. HIRA’s newest single “Y” is so good that we just had to bring it stateside. The song is produced by the trifecta of HIRA, Mahir Mistry, and Harry Craze. This bedroom pop banger features bouncy synths and smooth vocals that will pull in any prospective listener.

Sticking with bedroom pop, Stevedreez has been cooking up all of 2021 with the release of six new singles. The latest of which, “STAY UP”, is a must listen. The virginia artist is definitely one to tap into and keep an eye on.

Another artist that’s been on a steady roll this year, odd Couple. The talented producer has been teaming up with several vocal artists for four new singles this year. The newest, “Volume II”, sees Kweku Collins speaking on relationship woes, and the beat matches that energy. 

This week’s edition features several other astounding solo and collaborative tracks. Kid Smoke teams up with MIA GLADSTONE for “Come With Me”. Isaia Huron’s newest work, “Self!”, makes an appearance. In addition, this week also features songs from veggi, Ash Leone, and syd B, among others.
