Another week of Local Radio, bringing fresh tunes from emerging talent straight to your speakers.

With only three singles to his name, it hasn’t taken much for reggie to make his mark. The Houston, Texas native spent his younger days in church, and cites it as one of the reasons he first got into music. Listening to reggie’s music, those soulful influences are evident. Now based in Los Angeles, reggie taps two of the hottest producers, Kenny Beats and Monte Booker, for his newest single, “AIN’T GON STOP ME”. The gospel influences are prominent, with reggie’s uplifting vocals and lyrics taking the forefront. The track is so good it even landed him a performance on COLORS, which you can check out here.

In addition, Kosine has also worked with Nas, T-Pain, Vic Mensa, Trey Songz, and Jennifer Lopez, among countless others. Rounding out this week’s playlist features several other stand out tracks. “BILL$” is a smooth R&B song from Destin Conrad’s debut album COLORWAY. Terry Presume’s newest single “Zaza and Some Runtz (Smoke Break)”, is a phenomenal experimental alternative hip-hop ode to the herb. CHROMA is back with another single, “ROOFTOP FREESTYLE”. The group channels the roots of hip-hop with a cypher-esque style, each member getting a chance to spit.
